I’m guessing you all seen the big interview with Lance Armstrong admitting to using performance enhancing drugs.
It’s a sad sad day for the cycling sport. Yet, how much has it changed since Lance came out?
Does it make any difference to the already tarnished reputation of cycling?
Probably not. However, there was a demand for honesty from one the biggest sports icon ever. A sort of justice for all the destruction caused by his deceit.
The people have gained their answer and the verdict is a death sentence. Well, a death sentence to his days of competing.
Goals do not define a man.
Goals are merely just a sign post on the journey.
I was recently inspired by one of my mates, who shared his thoughts on this. I found it genuinely valuable.
While we’re all running around and chasing our goals. We fail to acknowledge the good work we put in prior to the goal.
We only give it some sort of acknowledgement once we’ve reached our goal. But do we really feel happy about that effort if we eventually didn’t achieve the final goal? Most likely not.
Our lives are a constant struggle where we try to avoid bad emotions. We try to avoid it as much as possible.
However, what do you do when you fall into it and can’t get out?
How do you get out of it?
Why did you even get into it?
And how do you stay out of it?
Depression or the wave of bad emotions can happen to anyone regardless of how your social status is or how good you perceive your life to be.
We all have goals. We all have things we want to achieve. It starts off as a dream. We eventually find motivation and passion. We fight for it. We work towards our goal. In the beginning everything is progressing well. Results are coming. Thing are getting done. Stuff get’s taken cared of. However, slowly the jaw-dropping results and amazement dissipates.
Normalcy settles in. This happens in practically everything that we do.
You see the amazement and quick results comes from what I call “Newbie Results”. It’s when a newbie or a beginner get’s radical and fast results quickly. He achieves things he thinks are amazing and rightly so, since he probably never have experienced such success. The Newbie Results will appear in anything we try to achieve, whether it being hitting the gym, dating or business.
There is an area I haven’t talked about much on this blog, since I felt there were already tons of blogs out there talking about it.
You probably alredy guessed it. It’s about: Making Money…
There are people out there, who knows tons more about making a passive income online than I do. I realize this and I’m not going sit here and tell you I’m a internet money making guru.
Yet, I know a few things and I feel these things are all you really need to get started.
I recently set myself a challenge of creating a site that could make $1000 every month by the end of this year. It was inspired by Pat Flynn’s Niche Dual site over at smart passive income. Once I saw his results I thought: “Man… I need to get on this ASAP”.
So I went ahead and collected all the knowledge I felt was relevant, researched and applied the things I foudn useful. I bought a domain name, a web hosting plan and off I went.
